Hey, I'm Paul Marino!
Paul Marino II is the President and co-owner of Automotive Performance Consulting, Inc. (APC), a firm he established with his son Paul Marino III in 2024. They founded the company with the specific mission of providing Automotive, Powersports, and RV dealers a "boutique like experience" centered on maximizing F&I and Sales revenues. This vision focuses on delivering a highly personalized training program that serves as a direct alternative to the more standardized programs offered by "big box" providers. Marino's leadership is backed by more than 45 years of experience across various sectors of the automotive industry.
His extensive background includes:
Retail Leadership: He spent 22 years in automotive retail, gaining hands-on experience as a salesperson, sales manager, F&I manager, general sales manager, and general manager.
Corporate Roles: His career includes ten years as a Regional F&I manager for Zurich Direct Markets and three years as a district manager for Subaru, where he conducted sales training and consulting.
Industry Influence: Marino is certified by the Association of F&I Professionals (AFIP) and served for eight years as a guest instructor at the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy, in addition to speaking on various NADA panels.
In his current capacity at APC, Marino is responsible for designing and implementing the company’s overall business strategy. He focuses on developing new business relationships and personally provides training and consulting services to dealer clients. Additionally, he manages the firm's internal talent by hiring, training, and managing APC’s F&I Executives.
